![]() ![]() ![]() These are a problem that I haven’t managed to overcome on roofs that have vertical textures like panel roofs do. And even on gables there’s a bit of weirdness if you look closely where roof pieces intersect. Because unfortunately, they don’t work on hipped roofs at all, just on gables. This is actually an edit of one roof from a set of them that I made a really long time ago, long enough ago that the set’s on my old LJ and nowhere else because it wouldn’t have met MTS’s quality standards of the time. So, I need to fiddle a bit more, but it looks much better already. All I did was plop the floor’s textures on it, just to see how it’d look…and found that it looked pretty good! But of course the texture displays differently on a roof than it does on a floor. I just need to lighten up the underside texture a bit. A much more better roof for the log cabin in Mustang Valley.
